The first thing i think of when I hear the word sandwich,is layers upon layers of pure goodness! Let's begin, my number one rule when I start any dish is to find the highest quality and freshest ingredients possible. For example,starting with the bread... find a bakery that produces fresh bread daily not delivered! Request the appropriate bread for your project and establish a relationship with your baker,people tend to take a little extra care of people that care about them. Next, take a trip to your local farmers market and meet the people in your area that grow your fresh produce and find what works best for you,hear is where things can get very interesting because with all of these options you can be as simple or as elaberate as you would like... be careful!
Now that you have all of your components collected it's construction time! The next most essential practice is to infuse as much flavour into each ingredient as possible, for example your bread is baked with it's original flavor we can toast it with aged cheddar,make an herb butter,and drizzle with a light honey... simple,tasty and your friend will wonder where you got this awesome bread! Last but not least take into consideration how to orchastrate or layer your sandwich, what hit your tongue first aside from the bread of course.
